Hunt Florida swamp ranch for wild boar, alligators, Florida whitetail deer and Osceola turkeys

This outfitter owns a fifth-generation 25,000-acre swampy cattle ranch, where he offers alligator hunts about 40 miles southeast of Orlando. You can enjoy a Disney World vacation with your family and sneak away for some hunting on the same trip. You can choose from two gator hunts. The two-day harvest hunt for four to eight-footers and the three-day trophy hunt for nine-footers or bigger.

Trophy alligator hunts for big bulls over 9 feet long are offered from May 1 to October 31. Gators can be taken by bow or rifle, but most are speared and then pulled up by line to the boat. Flat bottomed air boats are used at night, but sometimes swamp buggies are employed.

You can add a hog hunt to your deer hunt for $200 plus trophy fees ($150 for trophy boar, $100 for meat pig).

You can also hunt Osceola turkey and deer on the property in season. Many deer score 90 to 110 Boone and Crockett points, and there are a few bigger ones.

If you want to hear stories, gator hunters have plenty. He offers a couple types of gator hunts, and you are welcome to use a bow, rifle or spear. Spears are preferred on the night harvest hunts.

Trophy hunts are primarily conducted in May, June, July, September and October. Gators over 9 foot are considered trophy quality. License is included in the price of the gator hunts. Hunt GA2704.
