Hunt coyotes and bobcats in Colorado

This outfitter has done a great job for us since we began working with him eight or nine years ago. He has many thousands of acres of private ground leased and enjoys taking hunters after coyotes and bobcats on both deeded and public lands. He and his guides are skilled callers.
You'll usually set up in a vantage point where you can be camouflaged by the terrain or cover, and then you guide will use calls to lure the predators within rifle range. This hunt has been highly successful with most hunters on three-day trips successful in tagging at least one bobcat and several coyotes.
If you've never experienced seeing a coyote rushing toward you and hearing its paws pounding on the ground, you're in for a thrill. And the scenery in the winter, when most of these hunts take place, is fantastic. Be sure to bring your camera.
You're allowed to keep the pelts. Prime bobcat pelts are worth several hundreds, sometimes selling for $400 or more, but most hunters choose to have their cats mounted or rugged.
