This long-established outfitter takes one to four hunters a year the last 10 days of May. Hunters typically take boars in the eight to 10-foot range with most bears in the 8 1/2 to 9-foot range. His last 10 hunters have killed seven bears, and one of those hunters missed. The hunt is 40 miles out of Cordova near Katalla.
