Coues deer -- pronounce it how you want, "Cows" or "Kooz," because hardly anybody does it right anyway
An American outfitter from New Mexico offers guided hunts for Coues whitetail deer on his private ranch leases in Sonora, Old Mexico. He likes to take two hunters a week for three weeks in December though he has guided as many as six hunters during the same week with all of them taking mature bucks. This outfitter speaks Spanish well and has been hunting or guiding in Sonora for almost 20 years.
