Expired mountain lion listings

Southern B.C.: Only one hunter in the past five years has failed to take a cat on this hunt, and he was a repeat customer looking for a Boone and Crockett animal. The cats tend to be big in this area.  The outfitter takes four huntes a year. Hunts are seven days in December and January, $3,250 for 2007 (full this winter and next winter). You can add bobcat for $750. All bobcat hunters so far have scored. We've hunted with this outfitter. Stay in a lodge. Sometimes you can add lynx. ner. Idaho: In the past two years 22 hunters have taken nine lions, including one tom that green-scored above the Boone and Crockett minimum. The price of the hunt includes quarters in a house or lodge and meals. Hunts last six days and start Nov. 25, $3,000 plus a $500 kill fee for bobcat. Fly to Missoula and rent a car. Hunt ML757.


Kootenay Lake, British Columbia: This outfitter hunts three areas in southern British Columbia, including 4,000 square miles near Kootenay Lake. Success is usually close to 100% if the hunter is in good shape and the weather is good. Last year his 4 hunters took 3 toms. Hunts start about December 10 and run to the end of February. They use trucks and snow machines to locate tracks. 7-day hunts are $4,000 and start when picked up in Cranbrook. Bobcats can be taken on a $500 kill fee. Hunt ML427.
