Private ranch in New Mexico offers one or two archery elk permits

This hunt takes place on a 2,500-acre ranch in New Mexico. The family that owns the property usually gets three permits per year and uses them for personal hunting, but this year they are offering one permit to Hunts.Net customers.

There's a possibility of two permits. We'll post that change if it happens.

Each permit is valid for a week of the September archery season. The ranch lies inside a game management unit that is primarily privately owned and borders one of the best hunting ranches in New Mexico. Most hunters should be able to have chances to shoot five-point and six-point bulls. They family members who hunt typically score 100% on mature bulls.

Meals and accommodations are not included, but you can camp nearby. The permit alone is $3,000, which includes having one of the owners spend half a day with you the day before you start hunting to show you the boundaries and point out hunting areas. If you want a guided hunt, one of the family members is available at $300 per day. Hunt EKB2806.
