Trophy elk hunt in Alberta

This hunt has produced some of the biggest bull elk taken in Alberta in the past 10 years. The outfit produced the largest elk taken by an outfitter in the province four of the past eight years. The two biggest bulls they have taken scored 404 and 408 B&C points.

The price includes airport pickup at Edmonton. Hunting license, tags and taxes are extra. Accommodations are in a cabin about 40 miles south of Hinton. There have been really big bulls seen but not killed the past two years.

We do not consider this an easy hunt --- there is plenty of cover, there is some hunting competition from locals in some areas, and the elk are totally wild. But the chance for a quality animal is good for hunters willing to work hard and pass on lesser animals.

Our customers who have used this outfit say both owners are good hunters who try their best and are fun to be around. The outfitters also run a highly successful moose hunt. Click here for details on the moose hunt.

Hunter success has averaged 70 percent over the past eight years. Most hunters take bulls scoring from 300 to 350 Boone and Crockett points. Most years the biggest bull taken on this hunt scored 350 or more B&C points.

You can combine this hunt with moose, whitetail deer or mule deer. Call for the most up-to-date price on various combo hunts.
