Duck, geese, partridge, chukar, pheasant and other game bird hunts

Kansas pheasant hunts: This outfitter has more thaqn 50,000 acres of private leased land for wild bird hunting. He charges $125 a day with no minimum. It costs an extra $30 per day to stay in his bunkhouse. Season is Nov. 4-Jan. 31. The limit is four rooster pheasants and eight bobwhite quail. He also has access to controlled hunting (stocked birds). Hunt PH3406.
Kansas goose hunt: This outfitter offers a two-day goose hunt for $300. The daily limit is three. Meals and lodging are available for an extra $128 per person. The outfitter has about 25,000 acres of leased land where he runs this hunt. Hunt GS3406.

Kansas and Nebraska pheasant and quail: Hunt private ranches only three miles apart in two different states.

Hunt private leases along the Beaverhead River in Montana, $250 per day per person.


Alberta goose and duck hunt: September hunt that includes two black bears for $2,500. 6 hunting days includes lodging but no meals. These are the first oat fields the birds will hit after leaving the high Arctic tundra. Snows, Canada geese, pintails and mallards with liberal bag limits. Black bears on grainfields. 3 days waterfowl only is $1,500. Hunt GS136.

Montana winter goose: 3-day hunts, mid-Dec. to mid-Jan. Morning field shooting for geese and afternoon hunting for ducks. Guides, lodging and meals included. Fly to Billings. Airport pickup is extra. Hunt GS79.
