Goose/duck/grouse hunt in Saskatchewan | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
This is a fun hunt for bird hunters who want a little variety. In four days, you'll hunt snow geese, blue geese, Canada geese, several varieties of ducks, and ruffed grouse. The goose hunts are in croplands east of Carrot River. You can take eight dark geese and 10 snow geese per day. The guides dig pits the night before the hunt, and you'll have decoys to draw the birds close. Duck hunting is done in marshes along a manmade lake north of Carrot River. Ruffed grouse hunting is excellent, and you can keep 10 per day. The outfitter can take four people at a time very easily. He can split a party of six in half, taking three hunters after one type of bird and other others after another type each day. Hunt BI159.
