Mountain grizzly hunt in Alaska |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This hunt is based out of an extremely remote mountain tent camp. If you want to hunt grizzlies in a remote location that requires some physical conditioning and also offers a chance to take a wolf, this is a good choice. You can also enjoy ptarmigan hunting and fishing for Arctic char. Hunters must be in good hiking condition. You'll glass from hills, then stalk bears. Some bears might be close to camp on berry-covered tundra, while others could be seen several miles away and 1,000 or feet higher, feeding on berries that grow on tiny bushes that sometimes are just a few inches high. Bears in this area have rich, luxuriant fur. Pelts range from blond and cream to brown with dark chocolate legs. |
