This outfitter offers seven full days of hunting for Canada moose, or you can add black bear, mule deer or whitetail deer and extend your hunt to 10 days. In 2005 he accommodated eight moose hunters, and all of them had shooting opportunities with six of them taking bulls up to 49 inches wide. Typically antler spreads in this area are in the mid-40s and range from 30 to 52 inches.

The hunt is conducted from a spike camp featuring new outfitter tents, cots, tables, chairs and woodstoves along with a shower tent.
Wolf hunting is free as is fishing is free when lakes are still open. Wolves average 200 pounds and range from blacks and greys to dark brown.
The terrain is mostly accessible by Argo or 4WD ATV and ranges from flat land to hilly country. Most moose are shot along lakes and rivers, in clear cuts and cut lines and in meadows.
Black bears commonly weigh 325 to 400 pounds with the largest in 2005 weighing 433 pounds. About 70 percent are black with 30 percent ranging from blond to brown and cinnamon. In 2005 12 hunters primarily seeking black bear killed 22 bruins.

Whitetails typically score in the 140s and 150s with the bigger animals in the 160s and the rare buck scoring in the 170s. In 2005 all four rifle and both bowhunters killed bucks scoring 135 to 175 B&C.
Mule deer are mature bucks but seldom score well with most scoring in the mid-150s. The largest taken by the outfitter's customers so far scored 190 and was shot in 2004.
"Fishing is awesome," the outfitter said. "If you can't catch fish, throw your gear in the lake. Most of the guys catch 16 to 20-pound northern pike, 2 to 12-pound walleye and scattered lake trout. We usually go out one evening on the lake for trout and have that for supper. Last year there was fishing in November because the lakes were not closed up. We use a 16-foot aluminum boat with a casting platform. We can pull the little boat behind the quads. We can go up 10 or 12 miles and a guy drops you off and take the boat down the river until you get to camp."
