A southcentral outfitter who takes three to seven trophy mule deer hunters a year has three openings. His 14,000-acre ranch received five landowner vouchers last year and seven this year.

His five hunters last season killed two Boone and Crockett bucks that netted more than 190 typical points and three bucks from 170 to 185. This year he has one opening for a rifle hunter, one for a blackpowder hunter and one for a bowhunter. The rifle hunt is $6,000, which is at a $500 discount. His muzzleloader hunt is $5,500, and his archery hunt is $4,000. You will hunt in Unit 83.
The ranch contains about 4,000 acres of cropland that is especially productive for trophy deer hunting. The property borders two lightly hunted and well known trophy ranches. The outfitter is new to Hunts.Net and has been on his own since 2006, having guided for 15 years for an outfitter in northern New Mexico. Ask about Hunt MD3848
