Mule deer hunts in Kansas
Most mule deer hunting in Kansas is on private land. The state no longer issues landowner vouchers, so you must draw a tag in the annual computer lottery. The application deadline this year is June 2. You can apply online. Non-residents can hunt with a bow or muzzleloader but not a rifle. Residents can hunt with a rifle. Because all tags are limited, some quality bucks live in Kansas, which has produced some giants in recent years. |
