This hunt is offered by one of our favorite hunt providers. You'll hunt on a sprawling 120,000-acre ranch near Hardin, Montana. Only five hunters are allowed on the ranch during each of two hunting periods, Nov. 9-13 and Nov. 16-20. Two owners of the ranch also hunt. The hunt provider said hunters reasonably can expect to see 150 to 180-class bucks on the earlier hunt and 170 to 200 class bucks on the later hunt. The 2006 season was his first on the property, and he took eight hunters. All eight filled their tags on nice bucks with the largest a 200-class non-typical. The next biggest scored in the high 170s, but the hunters saw some other big bucks they were not able to take, including at least two over 30 inches.
