Mule deer hunts in Utah
Most of these hunts take place on ranches that receive landowner permits or where left-over general tags are available after the annual permit drawing. Some ranches are enrolled in the Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit program, meaning they get a longer season and guaranteed permits in return for a limited harvest of bucks. Archery permits are good in the entire state The deadline to apply for tags in the South, Southeast, Northeast and Central Regions as well as for tags in special trophy zones is the end of January. |

Management buck hunts available on desert mountain ranch Here's a chance to shoot a very nice buck at a reasonable price. You have two options, $2,000 for the first management buck you see, or $3,000 if you want to hold out for the biggest possible management buck. All management bucks are older deer, usually 5 1/2 years old or older, with less than optimal antler growth. Many of the bucks have three or fewer points on one antler.
