Colorado private-land pronghorn antelope hunt |

This outfitter is one of our favorite operators in the West. He has expanded his operation to cover 400,000 acres of private land spread across several game management units. Some of his hunts are in areas where a typical antelope carries 12 to 14-inch horns with the best bucks most years scoring in the mid-70s. He also operates in some trophy areas, and those bucks commonly score 75 B&C or more with the bigger bucks often scoring 80 to 82 B&C. He has to pay more for landowner permits in the trophy area, so those hunts cost more if you don't draw a tag. Most of his leases are in northern and eastern Colorado. Typically you'll draw a tag without needing a preference point for his northern hunt, and you'll need one or two points to draw a southeastern tag. One of his favorite trophy units is harder to draw, requiring eight preference points to draw a permit. However, if you don't draw, you can buy a landowner voucher, which is transferable to a non-resident. His regular hunt offers a good chance to take a mature, representative animal. Though many bucks will quality for Pope and Young if taken during the bow hunt, few are big enough to make B&C. His trophy area offers a better chance at B&C though most bucks will score in the 75 to 80 class.
