This outfitter took 18 hunters in 2003, and they killed 36 gobblers. He offers guided and self-guided turkey hunts on his private leases in the eastern half of the state near Manhattan. He has a lot of birds and said it's not uncommon to see dozens of birds. Hunting takes place on 15000 private acres that are a mixture of agricultural land and woods. There are a few Rio Grande gobblers, too. We've had deer hunters go with this outfitter for several years with good success. Most keep going back.
