This outfitter has leases totaling 2,500 acres of mostly land in units 15 and 16 in Kansas. The property is owned by three different landowners whose land he used to hunt by permission. A friend killed a buck that scored 184 4/8 on one of these properties. A bowhunter himself, the outfitter has taken several Pope and Young quality bucks. "We take a lot of bucks that score 150 or more in this area," he said. "Most of my land is within four miles and then I have 15 miles away." A six-day archery hunt is $2,500, and a five-day rifle hunt is $3,000. Meals and lodging are included.
